I have been in my current position for nearly 30 years, beginning with the ACO in January 1975. I am responsible for selecting, casting and directing the six play Mainstage season at the ACO and hiring production staff for our Child's Play series. I also serve as resident set designer. I also have taught privately for the past 30 years group and individual lessons in Acting, Directing, Stage Makeup, Stage Combat, Scene Design and Construction and Set Painting Techniques.

While at the Arts Center I have been shared the responsibilities for the establishment of the first Dinner Theatre performed in NWA, the first touring childrens plays based in NWA, the first Shakespeare Festival for school children in NWA and have been recognized state wide for achievements in Community Theatre. I have served the AAC in several adjunct committees including being a peer panel reviewer and the nomination selection committee for the Governor's Arts Award. I have been the Children's Theatre representative to the Southwest Theatre Conference. I have also served as guest lecturer at CMSU, John Brown University, and NWA area school systems. I have served as advisor and consultant for many area community theatres and art centers.

Along with my wife Kathi, ACO administrator, I will be honored by the Arts Center for 30 years of service to the arts community in September, recognized as Distinguished Alumni for Central Missouri State Unversity in April of 2005, and have been named one of NWA's "grooviest" couples by All About Town magazine.

I have performed in both musical and straight plays and have directed and designed well over 200 theatre productions for adult and children's theatre. I have appeared on local television and
have some voice over experience for film and radio as well as commercial work for radio and television.
