Howl-o Celtic musicians breathe new life into music of the Olde World!

As a live solo artist it's me and my guitar.  Many of the songs I perform date back to the Renaissance era. These traditional songs from Scotland, Ireland, Wales and England still play well, and often have subtle meanings that apply to today's world. I can happily perform in period garb or regular street clothes. My goal with each show is to create a sense of magic with music, and bring a smile or dance to even one child (or child at heart). As a lad in the Ozark Mountains, Douglys grew up with a fondness for music, nature, and the old Celtic ways. After his first Renaissance faire he began touring as a strolling minstrel, where he would meet...Bella,a professional website designer and all around computer wizard. She was a musician at her home faire when she spyed Douglys...I enjoy playing with other musicians and am occasionally joined by Bella. We form the Celtic music act Howl-o and play at various period faires. Howl-o has recorded several Celtic Music cds, our latest being Disk O' Peers.  On these discs I perform vocals, guitars, mandolin, drums and percussion, keyboards, didjeridoo, bass.  I also produce, record, and arrange the cds.
