The Pine Bluff Film Festival features classic films, (including silent), in the fall. Each year, festival organizers invite a luminary guest star to appear in person.

One or more films featuring the guest star are shown in The Community Theater in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. Other selected classic films, symposiums and lectures round out a complete menu of movie delicacies to satisfy the most voracious appetites for film and film lore.

The Community Theater, a typical theater you'd expect to see from the late thirties through the fifties, was restored to vintage condition by local film and history aficionado Bill Bettwy, a retired senior pilot for American Airlines.
